WEBINAR ACCESSIBLE VIDEO GAMES – CICANT AND THE BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN VIDEOGAMES

Last May 11, CICANT professors and researchers Carla Sousa and José Carlos Neves presented, in a webinar promoted by Humanitas, a set of accessible videogames that have been developed by students of the Bachelor’s Degree in Videogames. This is a project that also has the collaboration of Professor Hernani Pawlick and the support for the production of interfaces from LabTec (Lusófona’s fabrication and prototyping lab).

This webinar marks the first step in collaboration with that reference institution in the area of intellectual disability, which aims to validate and develop resources for such population. From now on, these games will leave the classroom to be tested by people with intellectual disabilities.
